Explainer — not the formal legal policy

Privacy & security

Windows environment

AlvinOps is not a sandbox and does not add isolation guarantees beyond a Windows user account.

Visible applications

AlvinOps works through the visible applications and interfaces on the Windows desktop. Shipped browser workflows go through Chrome. Word and Excel go through those desktop apps when you ask for them.

Your third-party accounts

Gmail, Google Docs, Google Sheets, YouTube, Tumblr, Microsoft Office — those remain your accounts. AlvinOps is not a cloud SaaS that stores that content for you.

Model / provider data

AlvinOps runs locally as part of the Windows / Alvin Desktop environment. Prompts, screenshots, and other job context may be sent to the AI model/provider you configured, depending on the workflow and model. Do not assume all data stays on the machine if you use a cloud model.

Credentials and sessions

You sign into the apps and sites you want operated. Alvin uses those existing sessions. Give AlvinOps access only to the accounts and files needed for the work you want it to perform.

Behavioral safeguards

Skills include rules that block important prohibited shortcuts (API/code bypass when the job is supposed to use the real UI). Safeguards are not a security certification and not a substitute for supervision.

Support conversations

Support requests go to AlvinOps Support at support@zfiremedia.com.

Responsible supervision

Do not give unlimited authority. Review work that publishes, spends money, deletes data, or contacts people.
